Program
Students will receive instruction regarding horse care, ground training and riding.
(Participants will also have the opportunity to work on their balance and core in the strength and conditioning facility.) Facility
Students will work with horses in a five-stall horse barn and 30,000 square foot indoor riding arena. Outdoors, they will work with horses in a 4,000 square foot fenced round pen.
Schedule
The program consists of a 14-week semester offered each fall and spring. Throughout the semester participants attend a session one night a week on Monday or Thursday (usually 6:30-8:30p) where they meet for discipleship instruction in the first hour and work with horses in the second hour.
